One of our goals at Whipporwill is to emulate life in a supportive setting so that our clients can learn to thrive outside the treatment world. Clients learn to develop healthy life skills with support from their Therapeutic Mentor, our Health & Wellness Director and their own individualized experiences. Each client creates and implements a unique schedule based on their personal interests and goals while having around the clock one on one support. The daily schedule provides clients with increased internal motivation, a sense of ownership, and space for self-discovery.

We help new clients stick to a structured routine while they work towards uncovering their own health and wellness goals. Day to day, staff provide support in maintaining a flexible and productive schedule that promotes total wellness. Bi-weekly sessions with the Health & Wellness Director allow clients to more deeply explore personal desires and strengths, translating these aspects into daily tasks and habits. As clients exhibit a willingness to try new things, they can create a schedule that may eventually include school, work, or recurring weekly service and recreational events.
